Clarence House Dental Health centre is led by our two dental partners, Marc and Kate. Together with our associate dentist, three dental therapists and our dental hygienist, they are supported by our team of dental nurses, plus our reception and administration staff. The team at clarence house are devoted to providing the best, gentle dental care for you. We’ve included some information here to help you get to know the team who make up clarence house. As you’ll see we are passionate about creating smiles and enjoy learning the latest techniques, as well as having a wide variety of interests outside of work – from enjoying time with our families, pursuing hobbies, playing sport and socialising.
We also invest in continual development for all our staff, covering the very latest diagnostic techniques and treatments as well as best care practices. Marc Gresley | Dentist – GDC No. 67276
“I have been a Dentist at Clarence House since I graduated from Sheffield University in 1991. I am passionate about providing high quality dental care for my patients and I’m very proud of our reputation for friendly, gentle treatment. I am a great believer in continuing education and I strive to keep up to date with the latest developments in dental care and technology.
As a dentist, I have specific areas of interest including root canal treatment (endodontics), problems associated with the bite and jaw (occlusion), aesthetic dentistry and dental implants”.
Marc Gresley, BDS, is a member of the British Society of Occlusal Studies, the British Endodontic Society and the British Society of Periodontology as well as being an Invisalign dentist. He has a diploma in dental implantology and is a member of the Association Of Dental Implantology.
Marc enjoys motorcycling and going to the gym. He also enjoys the occasional game of golf or cricket, when he gets the chance.
Kate Sanderson | Dentist – GDC No. 79439
“I have been a dentist at Clarence House since 2004 after qualifying at Newcastle Dental School in 2001. I am passionate about providing high quality dental care for my patients and I’m very proud of our reputation for friendly, gentle treatment.
As a dentist, I am passionate about treating each patient as a whole and fulfilling their need from us a dental practice.”
Kate Sanderson is also an Invisalign and an Inman Aligner dentist.
Kate is married with two children. She passionately supports Barnsley FC and also enjoys running and spending time at their family allotment.
Georgina Malkan | Dentist – GDC No. 258558
“I started at Clarence House in early 2024 having previously worked in Cheltenham and London, following graduation from The University of Birmingham in 2015. I have a keen interest in preventative and minimally invasive dentistry as well as enjoying all aspects of general dentistry.”
Georgina has trained to become an Invisalign provider and has also completed her training with the renowned Bob Khanna Training Institute in facial aesthetics and is enjoying bringing these skills to the practice.
Outside of dentistry, Georgie is an avid football fan and regularly attends home matches at Arsenal FC, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends and since moving to Gloucestershire has cultivated an interest in gardening and exploring the outdoors.
Meet our hygiene and therapy team
At Clarence House Dental Health Centre we’re extremely fortunate to have an excellent hygiene and therapy team, comprising three dental therapists and our dental hygienist.
Dental hygienists are registered dental professionals who help patients to maintain their oral health by preventing and treating gum disease and promoting good oral health. Dental therapists are also able to carry out some dental treatments direct to patients or under prescription from a dentist, including dental impressions, fillings and x-rays.
David Bridges BSC (Hons) RDT RDH | Dental Therapist / Hygienist – GDC No. 3316
David started his working life as an airframe technician in the raf and went on to qualify as a dental hygienist in 1987. He joined Clarence House in 1994 and is particularly interested in treating patients with advanced periodontal disease (gum disease) as well as all aspects of preventative care.
In 2015, David qualified as a dental therapist and now carries out restorative treatment for adults and children.
David is married with two adult children. He has keen interests in motorcycling, sailing and spending time with his Grand Daughter.
Vicky Kennedy RDH | Dental Hygienist – GDC No. 6304
Vicky started working at Clarence House as a dental nurse for 4 years, returning to the practice in 2004 after gaining her hygienist qualification. As part of her two year course at Birmingham Dental Hospital, she spent 3 months in Finland as part of a student exchange.
Amongst many hobbies, Vicky particularly enjoys watching rugby, running and walking her dog. Her favourite winter pastime is skiing and she enjoys travelling and eating out.
Hazel Lumley RDT RDH | Dental Therapist / Hygienist – GDC No. 174113
Hazel joined Clarence House in August 2011. She qualified as a dental therapist/hygienist in 2009 from Bristol University.
Hazel has an interest in treating nervous patients and those with additional needs.
Outside of work, hazel plays roller derby, a full contact sport played on roller skates with our local team, Severn Roller Torrent.
Emma Hempstead RDT RDH | Dental Therapist – GDC No. 261571
Emma joined Clarence House in 2024.
Emma cares for our younger patients who require treatment and also works as a hygienist treating our adult patients.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her partner and also keeping fit by swimming.
Meet our friendly reception team
When you come to Clarence House, the first people you’ll meet are our experienced and professional reception team. As well as arranging appointments, they can advise you on many aspects of our practice and the services we offer.
Lucy Lewis RDN | Qualified Dental Nurse GDC: 146063
Lucy successfully combines different roles at clarence house, including being part of our front of house team, treatment co-ordinating and nursing with our clinicians. Lucy has worked at Clarence House for over 20 years.
Lucy has a young daughter who keeps her on her toes! When she isn’t running around after her daughter, lucy enjoys going to the gym, including spin classes and resistance training.
Lorna Pendlebury-Bowe RDN | Qualified Dental Nurse and Dental Radiographer GDC: 121071
Lorna first started at Clarence House in 1996. You will find Lorna working as part of our front of house team or alongside one of our clinicians in the dental surgeries.
Since she started working for us, Lorna has had two children, away from work, she enjoys sending time with her family and friends and has a love of baking.
Louise king RDN | Qualified Dental Nurse and Dental Radiographer GDC: 133033
Louise first started at Clarence House in 1995. She took a break to be at home with family, including three children before returning back to us in April 2015.
You will mainly see Louise at reception as part of our front of house team, ready to greet you with a warm welcome.
In her spare time, Louise is kept busy looking after her two daughters and her son. She enjoys keeping herself fit with regular gym sessions and keeping active with her children.
Meet our dental nurses
Our excellent team of qualified dental nurses work in the practice to support our dentists, therapists and hygienists. They assist in the smooth running of our dental surgeries, as well as operating our central sterilising room.
All of our nurses undertake regular courses to maintain their continuing professional development.
Kate Pearse RDN | Clinical Lead – Qualified Dental Nurse, Dental Radiographer and Oral Health Educator GDC: 174970
Kate joined our team in 2006. Since then she has successfully qualified in dental radiography and oral health education and she uses these within her role at clarence house.
Away from work enjoys spending time with her children, Isla and Freddie. Kate has developed a passion for running and keeping fit.
Charlie Wheeler | Qualified Dental nurse (Awaiting GDC No.)
Charlie joined us in April 2022 and has been an incredible asset to the team, passing her Dental Nursing course in the summer of 2024.
Away from work, she enjoys keeping fit with regular gym sessions and spending time with her loved ones.
Judy Morris RDN | Qualified Dental Nurse and Oral Health Educator GDC: 267074
Judy recently joined our team in march 2017 with 4 years of dental nursing experience. Judy settled in very quickly and you will mainly find her working alongside Marc, one of our dentists, in his surgery.
Outside work, Judy enjoys being a Mum to her son and spending time with family and friends.
Katie Grant RDN | Qualified Dental Nurse GDC: 260981
Katie joined clarence house in may 2016. You will find her working alongside our dentist kate in her surgery.
Katie got married in September 2017 and lives in Tewkesbury with her husband, two daughters and her lovely dog Bronte. Katie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, going for long walks in the countryside and shopping. She also enjoys visiting different places and has just recently returned from her honeymoon in Sri Lanka.
Rebecca Hill RDN | Qualified Dental Nurse and Dental Radiographer GDC: 243426
Rebecca joined clarence house in 2012 and we are proud to say that, after all her hard work, she has recently passed her dental radiography course.
In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys spending time at the stables with her horse milo or taking her chihuahua chico for walks. She also enjoys socialising with her family and friends.
Natasha Godwin RDN | Qualified Dental Nurse and Dental Radiographer GDC: 266206
Natasha joined Clarence House in September 2019 and settled in within the practice instantly.
Natasha enjoys spending time with her son, Stan and has recently got married to her lovely husband Joe in March 2024.
Debbie Brooks RDN | Qualified Dental Nurse GDC: 280538
Debbie returned to clarence house in June 2019 and is working three days a week alongside David our dental therapist.
In her spare time, Debbie enjoys spending time with her daughter and socialising with her family.
Abigail o’Neill | Qualified Dental Nurse (Awaiting GDC No.)
Abbi joined the practice in April 2021 and gained her Dental Nurse qualification in February 2024.
Outside of work, Abbi enjoys spending time with her partner and daughter, cooking and keeping fit by cycling and walking.
Amber Stanton | Trainee Dental Nurse
Amber started at Clarence House early 2024 and we feel very lucky to have Amber here as part of the dental team and training towards her Dental Nurse qualification.
Outside of work Amber enjoys spending time with her family and friends.
Hannah Giffin | Trainee Dental Nurse
Hannah started at Clarence House in February 2024 and has been a great addition to the team, always smiling and ready to help within the surgeries working towards her Dental Nursing qualification.
Outside of work Hannah enjoys keeping fit and spending time with her loved ones.
Michaela Sheirs | Decon Nurse
Michaela joined the team in 2021 and has been an amazing addition, as a team we all feel very fortunate to have her working alongside us and keeping the decon room in order.
Outside of work, Michaela loves spending time with her family and taking her Grandson out for special days.
Meet our practice manager
Our experienced practice manager Hazel Pugh is always on hand to give you advice and answer your queries.
Hazel Pugh
Hazel has been with Clarence House since 1981. She started at the practice as a dental nurse and has worked her way up to her current role as practice manager. Hazel knows clarence house inside out and is our go to person for any information and advice!
Hazel thoroughly enjoys her work, particularly because it brings her in to contact with lots of interesting people every day, many of whom have been coming to the practice for a large number of years.
In her spare time, hazel enjoys spending time with her Grandchildren and gardening. She also likes walking and has recently taking up cycling.
I can smile with complete confidence! I can’t now imagine ever being concerned about appearing in photos. It’s just been a new lease of life. Thank you.
